From the Miraflores Selection — "Behold the Flowers"
Situated within the Tenza Valley, part of the Cundiboyacense high plateau in the Colombian Andes, this coffee growing region resides on the eastern side of the range. The area features steep mountainous terrain and a single plateau where cultivation takes place. These geographic features result in abrupt elevation changes. The region boasts an average temperature of 16–17°C, with an annual rainfall of 1,500–2,000mm. The soil composition is defined by clay characteristics, providing an optimal environment for coffee cultivations.
This coffee is part of the Miraflores Selection (which means "behold the flowers") — a tribute to the rich diversity of regional Colombian coffee production. Lots are sourced from Colombia's finest coffee growing departments, bringing stunning seasonal and regional freshness to the fore. Each region offers unique and diverse flavour profiles, conditioned by the terroir within their boundaries.
